Style with Brains #2: How to Declutter your Closet?

In my previous blogpost I wrote about the usefulness of looking around carefully in your closet and getting rid of everything that is unnecessary. On one hand it is nice to discard all the "this will be good for something someday" items which only take up valuable space. On the other hand it is also nice if you don't try to push the newly bought items into an already full closet, to pull them out later with a definite need of ironing. More esoteric people say thet decluttering frees energies, let chi go freely on its way, so there are a number of reasons to try it.

Style with Brains #1: Don't Fall Into the Discount Trap!

End-season sales offer the lowest prices these days, and there are many back-to school offers on every corner. This is enough to make even the reasonable shoppers like many of us a bit dizzy: even if we shop with brains any other time, we can go head-over-heels these days and it usually means that we spend more than we wanted, and half of that in vain. But how can you make the most of your spendings if it goes about fashion sales? I give you some tips on how to make the best choice.

Our best excuses #1: "If I change my lifestyle, I'll never be allowed to eat my favourite foods again!"

First of all: it is not true. There is no healthy lifestyle which wouldn't allow some sidetracks from time to time. Although it is definitely not the same if you eat a donut once in two weeks or two donuts every morning - if you want to reach your goals, you have to stick to the first option.

When stress makes you go crazy

A few days ago I went to a meeting of local bloggers, that looked very interesting for me. Better to say, I wanted to go there. I started quite early so that I could be there comfortably on time. The only thing I didn't think of was that it took an hour and a half just to get a few streets away from my starting point due to rush hour and badly organized road renovations.
Stress is hard

I was supposed to be there at half past five - I gave up on the whole project at half past six, when I still had about half of the way before me. You can imagine I didn't feel like a zen master :)

Forget your excuses, and start that workout!

I'm sure everyone has their favorite excuses when it comes to skipping one (or more) workouts. We have no time. We don't have the mood. Or we simply don't feel the effects of our efforts.

But if you listen to these excuses, I can assure you, you won't ever see any results - not in half a year, and not in one whole year, or any time. It's worth getting over procrastination and fit regular physical activity into your schedule. That's the only way to reach your goals.
